Corporate and Organizational Giving

Whether your company or organization has $1,000 or $100,000 charitable dollars set aside, Genesis House has an opportunity for you to become a community partner. We can tailor a giving program to your company's budget and philanthropic needs.

• Corporate Funding - Provide a year's worth of funding to help feed our residents who rely on us not only for safe shelter but for three meals a day while they are with us. Support our Youth Education Prevention Services that reach out to students in area elementary, middle and high schools; Art As Therapy program offered to children; our Disabilities Advocacy which provides education and supportive services to clients with MR/DD. This program, called the AVERT Program, is the only one of its kind in the country; or help support any other of our other diverse services offered to the community.
• Event Sponsorship - Become a sponsor for one of our annual fundraising events. We welcome the opportunity to sit down with you to discuss potential sponsorship possibilities.
• Foundation Grants represent not only a substantial, but also a critical, source of funding for our organization. Foundations have the opportunity to allocate funds to specific programs or general operating support.
• Matching Gift Programs – Genesis House encourages companies to join with their employees to support charitable organizations with a matching gift program.
• Tribute gifts - Corporations will often donate money “in honor of” their clients during the holiday season.  Host a Fundraising Event and donate the proceeds to the lifesaving work of Genesis House. From restaurant grand opening celebrations to annual golf tournaments, many generous businesses and organizations may chose Genesis House to benefit from their self-organized special events and efforts.

Genesis House is a not-for-profit organization that relies on contributions from individuals, organizations and corporations to fulfill its mission. Donations are tax deductible.

$75 provides one day of shelter and counseling.

$100 provides one month of sessions for a child in our Art-As-Therapy program

$250 provides 24-hour crisis line support for 10 days

$500 provides groceries for one week for 12 emergency shelter residents 

$1000 provides utilities for one month at Genesis House
